Desplazados: De la mendicidad a la productividad

Abstract

La problemática que presenta el desplazamiento en el Departamento del Atlántico, y sus posibles soluciones, ha caminado por muchos senderos y en relación con ella se han elaborado diversas investigaciones, en donde la ayuda humanitaria ha sido el tema inevitable. Aun así la población desplazada se siente desatendida y es por ello que esta población declara la necesidad e intención de ser productivos. Un punto importante se refiere a que la mayor parte de los trabajos han sido de carácter exploratorio o descriptivo y no apuntaban hacia alternativas de solución. Es por ello que la investigación que se realizó estuvo encaminada a la búsqueda de alternativas productivas para la población de desplazados y vulnerables, a fin de que fuesen gestores de su propio destino. Ese es el querer de ellos, ser productivos y no estar a la merced de ayudas humanitarias que al final no sirven de mucho puesto que se convierten en respuestas coyunturales que los llevaría a la mendicidad.

Abstract: The problem presented by the displaced people in Atlántico Department and possible solutions has walked many paths, and in connection with it, various investigations and researches have been developed, where humanitarian aid has been the inevitable topic. Even so, the displaced people population is unattended and that is why these need and declaring the need of being productive people. An important point is that the most studies have been descriptive or exploratory in nature and they did not point towards possible solutions. That is why the research that was conducted was aimed at finding alternatives for the displaced and vulnerable people, so they were managers of their own destiny. That is the wish of them: to be productive and not to be at the mercy of humanitarian aid that at the end.
